Hey everyone!

 My name is Mae, I’m a transgender woman who is finally coming up on a life-changing, gender-affirming facial feminization surgery (FFS) I’ve been working toward for a while now.

 This surgery will ease the dysphoria I’ve been experiencing - the disjunction between not only my self-image and reality, also how others perceive me versus how I am perceived - which will allow me to live more freely, safely and openly as the woman I am. 

I’ll be in recovery from this surgery, and unable to work, for 2 months, from October 29th 2026 to January 8 2027. I am raising funds to support myself through this recovery, and to help get me back on my feet once my new face is healed!

 I’m looking to raise a total of $6,500, to cover rent, utilities, food, medicine, travel (to medical appointments), as well a contingency fund, to make sure that if there any unexpected emergencies, or any hiccups in my plan to return to work (in THIS economy?), I will be safe.
