Madyson was taken by ambulance to St. Louis Barns-Jewish Hospital on July 13th, 2024, for preeclampsia! She will be going in to have an emergency c-section at 30 weeks gestation, or 34 if things start to look up.

Our daughter, they're planning to keep until September 21st, which is Rynlee's due date. We have a little to get us by, but got nothing ready for her. This all hit at the last moment, anything helps!!! there is a go fund me being started to help with expenses of everything with this sudden happening I thought I could come here to explain a bit better so everyone has an idea to why we need the help for this.

Questions have been asked, messages have been sent, and most of all our family is still not sure on what to say or how to answer a bunch of these questions and concerns and we don't know as much either.
Last week I started swelling pretty badly and went to the ER in mount vernon at good Sams hospital to get checked out since I had issues with swelling and signs of preeclampsia with my two previous children. Everything checked out normal besides the fact my protein levels were slightly high but nothing to serious, no high blood pressure, no blurred vision, headaches, etc. They sent me home and told me what to watch for and what to do for the signs of preeclampsia.
as the week passed I slowly noticing an increase in my body with the swelling and i honestly just couldn't handle it, so my body started to feel ill, heavy chest in the morning, nausea, headache and then the blurred vision, and just not wanting to get up and do daily tasks.
July 12, Friday, my husband and his sister and step brother had a trip planned for us to to current river and I held back just in case of any of my symptoms worsening or me having to go to the hospital. He left and got his self to where they needed to go and I went home and tried to get off my feet and relax when my headache got so pounding that I was screaming in pain. I called my grandma roughly around 6:30pm to pick me up and take me to the Carbondale ER to be safe.
Once we got there my protein levels in my urine for the preeclampsia screening went from 400 to 4000 which is dangerously high. They piled in with drs and nurses and said I'd be flown to St. Louis to have my baby it was just the waiting game with the weather. They gave me a steroid to help baby's lungs develop faster, gave me blood pressure meds due to the fact my blood pressure was sky rocketing, they gave me more meds to help prevent stroke and seizures due to the high blood pressure, I had to get another shot due to my blood type being incompatible with the baby's because I'm RH negative and I've been on and off meds since then.
July 13, Saturday, the ambulance picked me up at 5 am and transported me to the saint louis Barnes Jewish hospital instead of being flown due to bad weather to get me and Rynlee the better proper care since they have a nicu unit and the proper Dr and study's for my issue. Tyler met us at the hospital, following right behind the ambulance the whole ride here.
As of now update I will either have this baby via emergency c section, today, tonight, tomorrow, or the next day depending on how my levels and baby's stability is. If they get everything stable I will be held in the hospital for 4 weeks, no going home, until I hit my 34 week mark of pregnancy where they will deliver her via c section. My husband and I will try to contact everyone and keep family and friends updated..
