Hey y’all, my name is Madison Helms and I was born and raised in Eatonton, GA. My mother was Mary Green and my father is Shane Helms. I am 26 years old and going through one of, I think, the hardest tribulations I’ve dealt with yet.

I have cleaned houses in the area for about 8 years now and have come to know some amazing people. I am also a registered PCA who’s seen her fair share of turmoil as it comes with the job.

I recently found out 3 months ago I had a rare form of cervical cancer as well as multiple cysts and lumps throughout certain parts of my body. I have been to countless doctors in hopes of finding my saving grace and have found out there is a treatment to help me. But with that treatment comes the harsh reality I will never be able to bear children, and I have not come to terms with that yet.

I am in desperate hopes to raise the amount I need to go forth with my surgery so I can focus on bettering my health and my life as long as I can. Thanks to Cowles Clinic in beautiful Lake Oconee, they found everything and gave me the answers I needed and wanted to hear.
