Hello everyone, my name is Madison and this is my pregnancy journey so far.

Starting at 15 weeks, I had some bleeding which took me to the ER, and I had an infection for a while. I had to go back due to bleeding continuously and was diagnosed with a Subchorionic Hemorrhage, which is bleeding between the uterine wall and the chorionic membrane surrounding the fetus, causing vaginal bleeding and cramping. Between the time of me being diagnosed to now, I've had 3-4 ER visits due to excessive bleeding and had to be put on restrictive activity, making it harder to care for my daughter Nova, who is 2.5 years old. In between one of those ER visits, we found out that my hemorrhage has gotten bigger and turned out to be a Subamniotic Hemorrhage, which is bleeding between the amniotic membrane and the fetal chorionic plate. This is a lot more serious and comes with a lot more complications such as preterm birth and other fetal issues.

This morning, my water unfortunately has broken. I am only 23 weeks and 2 days into my pregnancy journey. I have been presented with the worst-case scenario that could happen to someone in my condition. I am now living at the hospital until baby girl comes, which could be days, weeks, or months. The doctors here are trying to safely prevent and slow down labor as much as possible so our baby girl has a stronger chance at life. I am on complete bed rest, so I am unable to care for my daughter without someone with me. I thankfully have a little village to help on certain days, but there could be days Brenton will have to miss work due to no one being able to help.

All funds raised from this GoFundMe will go towards gas, food, essentials for Nova, essentials for me and Brenton, things for baby girl if she comes early and bills if we fall behind. Within this day we have had a sneak peak into our unexpected future and the outcomes are looking very different and are outcomes that parents shouldn’t ever have to potentially expect.
