Hello! My name is Madison Maginn, I am 25 years old and I was born and raised in Santa Clarita, CA.

Over the last few years, I picked up sewing as a hobby. I really enjoy doing it and find it very fulfilling when I complete a project! Last year, I gave birth to my first beautiful baby girl, and she has inspired me to turn this hobby into a business!

I am in the works of starting up my own sewing business specializing in baby sleepwear made with bamboo premium fabric. My business will be named after my daughter, Maya Dream Co. This business will allow me to foster my creativity, contribute my skills to my community, and stay home with my daughter to spend as much time as I can with her in her formative years.

Start-up costs are very expensive, and the fabric in particular that I want to work with is quite expensive as well. I have been on maternity leave, so money is tight. I am starting this fundraiser to ask my friends, family, and neighbors for their generosity to help me cover these start-up costs and become one step closer to being able to stay home with my baby girl. The funds will be going towards fabrics, supplies, costs to create a website, maintenance on my sewing machine, and other general needs for the business.
