On October 4th, 2025 my partner Madison's mother, Holly, devastatingly was lost to us suddenly at the age 57. The sudden onset of their mothers illness and subsequent death came at a time when they were not emotionally or financially prepared for the loss of a parent. The amount of travel over the last 8 weeks and missed work has already created a huge financial burden. After their mom's passing, they missed work for a week to process this incredible loss. We will need to continue traveling to and from Charlotte to go through their mom's belongings which will include additional lost income, as well as hotel, food, and gas costs. Additionally, we would like to be able to afford therapy to support Madison during the grieving process. There may be additional costs associated with this loss that we are unable to determine at this time.
