Support Madison: Behind on Bills

Hi all. My name is Madison, I’m a 40 year old trans girl living in Southern California. I moved out here after my mom passed away in 2022 to be with my partner and start a life together with her. A few months ago, my partners mental health declined, forcing her to move out, staying with her parents. I was unable to find another roommate, another apartment, and I could not afford the apartment by myself. A friend of mine in another city offered to let me stay with her and, being as it was my only option, I took it.

Because I had to pay April’s rent in my own, I have fallen behind on all my bills including my car payment, insurance, and registration. I also had to leave my job as my new home is 3 hours away. My only source of income for now is doing Lyft or Uber, which is now in jeopardy because of me being behind on bills.
