Hi! We're Madi and Bayless–two people trying to make a life together in spite of a devastating economy

We met online in a joyous community in 2023 and slowly fell in love over the course of the last year or so. During that time we both lost jobs and have had to scramble to make things work most months. So, after a beautiful long distance journey, we decided that moving in together makes a lot of financial and life sense, splitting bills, supporting each other's mental health, and building a simple, full life together.

It turns out moving across the country is not a cheap adventure and one that has incurred a lot of unexpected expenses, despite our best efforts to keep costs low. We know times are hard for everyone and asking for money is not in either of our wheelhouses, but we'd appreciate anything you're able to give. Our community means everything to us and we're so excited to be back in a place of giving back so soon.
