Support Madelynn's Journey to Motherhood

Madelynn’s OI journey started with a diagnosis at 12 years old. She was told that if she wanted to have her own children, she would have to make the decision to be a young mother to ensure the health of the baby and herself. At 19 years old, Madelynn and Sterling sat me down and asked if I would support their decision to start a family. It was a very quick “yes” for me!! Being a mom is one of the greatest gifts ever!

Through this journey, there have been ups and downs, as we had expected. But we did not expect for Madelynn to need to be in a different state to receive specialized treatment. This has been extremely hard emotionally and financially for the two.

I’m asking my friends and family for your support in Madelynn’s journey into motherhood with a financial gift, so that Sterling can take off from work and be with her 24/7.

Their son, Mason Gregory Key, will be delivered via C-section on September 20, 2024. They will need to remain in the Asheville area for an additional week while Madelynn heals and receives the rest of her infusions.
