My name is Maddy, and I just moved to Australia! I've never lived outside the Phoenix area before, but I love traveling and have always wanted to experience life outside the US.

Moving to the other side of the world is the scariest, craziest thing I've ever done. I know this is going to be challenging, but as someone who's faced a lot of financial and housing insecurity, I have hope that I can find a kinder, more peaceful life for myself in the near future.

Asking for help is hard sometimes. I've saved as much as I could, but I have no idea how long it will take to find steady work and more permanent housing. Anything you donate goes towards cheap hostels until I can get back on my feet! Even the smallest donation goes such a long way towards a roof over my head and a bed to sleep in!

So thankful for everybody who's helped me get this far, and so grateful for anyone willing to help me afford starting over in a new place!
