Support Maddy Eriksen's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
My niece, Maddy Eriksen, is home from the hospital after her accident 2 weeks ago. Her and her 1.5 year old son were heading home to the bay area and driving southbound on hwy 70 when a driver in the opposite direction decided to do a u turn by Woodruff Lane. The impact totaled the vehicle. The jaws of life was used to get them out and they were transported separately in an ambulance to UC Davis. Maddy was a nanny in the bay area and, needless to say, is not going to work for some time. She has a crushed ankle from it being stuck under the pedal, a crushed wrist, punctured lung, broken nose from the air bag and 3 loose front teeth. Her son was released from the hospital with a broken collar bone and arm. Her boyfriend's mother started a gofundme to help with bills. Someone who stopped and helped Maddy and her son while waiting for the ambulance to arrive, made a post of fb and asked our community if anyone had information about them. She left the scene not knowing if they lived or died. The support and compassion from the people who posted on it was so heartwarming and the comment she said where angels were watching because the other people who stopped to help were nurses and EMTs, who just happened to drive by and were off work brings tears to my eyes. I'm thankful survived.
