My name is Madelyn, I go by Maddy. 2 weeks ago, I lost my dad to a long battle of cancer. My mom died when I was five years old. My family was already having a difficult time financially and now that my dad is gone, my Stepmom and I are struggling just to meet our basic needs. My Stepmom just moved to this country and does not speak English and is having a difficult time finding a job. I'm trying my best working part time as a swim teacher and lifeguard while going to school, but as you can imagine the income is not sufficient.
