This is Madison Wray, daughter of Linda Denise Wray and Brian Michael Bowman, and the dear friend of our daughter Emily. She is 24 years old and we love her! After 6 months of unresolved pain, ER visits, scans, diagnostic surgeries, biopsies, and several extended hospitalizations, Maddy was unexpectedly diagnosed with a rare form of stage 4 cancer. So rare, that it required extensive testing that delayed diagnosis and treatment. This diagnosis has been devastating to Maddy and her family, and heartbreaking for her friends. This illness has changed so much in her life, and in the lives of the family and people who love and care for her. Cancer was found in several places in her body. It is causing ongoing pain. She has now started chemotherapy and radiation. Fighting for her life, going to doctor's visits, treating this illness and the side effects of the treatment has become a 24/7 job for Maddy and her family.

Prior to her diagnosis, Maddy obtained a Bachelor's degree and was working full-time. What was normal life for Maddy and her family has now been turned upside down. Pain, illness, sleepless nights, worry, bills, discouragement, and fear have become very overwhelming to them as anyone can imagine. Our hearts and continued prayers go out to Maddy and her family. This is a tough journey that we wish they did not have to face! We are asking God for a miracle in Maddy's life in every way. We also pray for God to comfort her family! In this time of uncertainty, please help us make some things certain for Maddy. She is not alone, people care, and God loves her!
