My sister Maddy was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. As many know, chemo is incredibly hard on the body. The treatments leave her extremely sick and exhausted, making it impossible for her to work right now. Her current focus is on healing, resting, and getting through each treatment.

Last weekend, life dealt another unexpected blow. Maddy’s partner, Colin, was in a skiing accident that resulted in a severe leg injury requiring surgery. His doctors expect him to be out of work for 6–8 weeks, leaving them both without income during this already overwhelming time.

With medical bills, recovery, and daily life expenses, they are facing mounting financial stress, in addition to carrying mental and physical stress.
