My 5 year old nephew Maddux Reed fell off the deck and into the path of a riding lawnmower on May 31st. He was flown from Rapid City to Sioux Falls where they removed part of his foot. Unfortunately the skin did not heal correctly so they had to go to Denver Children’s Hospital for plastic surgery. Maddux has now had 6 surgical procedures and is looking at at least 2 more. He is probably going to have an amputation below the knee once they can clean up the infection he is now fighting. The family has been split between Rapid and Denver. Because so many of you have asked how you can help we started this go fund me page for uncovered medical bills, hotel rooms, meals, travel and future expenses to help with his ongoing recovery. Maddux will need to make several return trips to Denver.
