Hey, my name is Skyler Owens. I'm a mom to two kids and just found out my 3-year-old son Maddox was diagnosed with leukemia today. We have been in the hospital since Monday, August 19th, 2024, and are currently in Columbia hospital. We will probably be here for another week and a half. I normally wouldn’t do anything like this or ask for help, but I'm in desperate need.

I will need money for food, gas to get back and forth and whatever else I may need or he might need considering we live 2 hours away. As he has speech therapy twice a week on top of now he will have to come to Columbia once a week to get his chemo treatment. I won't be able to work due to this unexpected illness. Anything would help us at this point. I'm beyond exhausted and stressed.
