Support Maddox's Battle Against Brain Tumor

Hello, my name is John Harvey. This here is my son and best friend Maddox (he is 11 years old). Back in May 2024, he was diagnosed with what’s called a Pilocytic Astrocytoma which is a type of brain tumor. The tumor is located inside his brain stem and intertwined in the nerves so it is inoperable and pushing on his ocular nerve causing his left eye to drift and giving him double vision. Maddox has been receiving chemotherapy as a result of his diagnosis to get the tumor under control so it doesn't grow and cause more damage to some of the many nerves it is attached to and hopefully restore his vision or at least make it better. He had a port inserted and has been receiving chemo since his diagnosis, makes him nauseous and a little tired but he’s a trooper and handling it well and doing his best and we are all staying positive. It breaks my heart watching him go through all this and wish I could take it all on myself and not him.

I am not really the type of person that asks for help or handouts and this is all new to me but anything helps to make this easier to provide whatever he needs to feel comfortable and honestly medical bills are not cheap these days. Anything helps and whatever is left will be donated to a relatable cancer charity. Thank you all for taking the time to read this and God bless.
