Support Maddox: Honoring Officer Matthew Juniper

On behalf of my family, I would like to express all of our gratitude for everyone's kind words, shared pictures, and memories of our amazing Matthew McKellan Juniper.

This has been the most difficult time our family has ever had.

For anyone seeing this and unaware of the events, we lost Matthew on August 30th, 2025, in a tragic accident.

Matthew started his journey in our hometown with the York Township Volunteer Fire Department, following his calling to the Jackson County Sheriff's office, and from there, Matthew moved to where he has been working full-time as a Wellston Police Officer.

Matthew leaves behind an amazing legacy and, more importantly, a one-year-old Son named Maddox.

He left behind this precious baby, who will now grow up without the love, laughter, and guidance of his dad.

This unimaginable loss has deeply affected the family both emotionally and financially. In honor of Matthew and to help give Maddox the future he deserves, we are raising funds to support his upbringing- covering essentials, like child care, medical needs, and eventually an education.

An account has been opened for Maddox, and all the funds from this will be placed in it.

Let's come together as the multiple communities and show that love carries on, even in the hardest of times
