Please help support Maddie's Urgent Cancer Tumor(s) Surgery

I wanted to give an update on our journey with Maddie. (In the Cover Photo, is Maddie, her sister Riley, who passed away from Stage 4 Kidney Disease, and her brother, Tank. Tank was rescued from a lifetime of living in a crate and being abused).

On May 29, 2025, I created this gofundme account. (Something I thought I'd never do). My reason for creating it, was because of the heartache I could see in my husband when we were told that Maddie had cancer. My husband got Maddie 7 years ago (after I told him that we didn't need another dog, because we had too many already). (All are rescues). Maddie and my husband bonded immediately! Maddie, going everywhere that her Daddy went. Even to work! My husband drives a Semi, and every single morning when he gets up to go to work, Maddie gets up too! They leave at 3am and generally don't get home until 7 or 8pm.

The original estimate for her surgery (from the Vet we were going to at that time) was $2,300 maybe more depending on what they encountered during surgery. Unfortunately, we simply don't have the money.

Today, June 26, 2025. I took Maddie for a second opinion with a Veterinarian that came highly recommended. He examined her and discovered that she actually has 5 tumors. He was a very down to earth Dr., one that isn't in the business to get rich. He has to make money of course, but he told me that his top priority is to care for animals. His quote for surgery to remove all 5 of the tumors was almost $1,000 less than our original quote.

I understand that there may be more important reasons to create a gofundme page, however, our animals are our children and we want to give them the best care that we can. We were not expecting to find out that Maddie has cancer. It was such devastating news to us, especially my husband.

Since creating the gofundme account on May 29th,

we have had 5 people donate money to help us be able to help Maddie. And, we are so grateful for each of you and your generosity for donating to help Maddie!

Hopefully, with lots of prayers, we will find a way to come up with the remaining amount of money. And, hopefully, Maddie will be able to have the surgery that she desperately needs soon.
