Support Maddie's Transgender Surgery Journey

Hi everyone! My name is Maddie and I am a transgender woman asking for help on this next journey of my life.

Since I was a child, I always knew something just wasn't right with the body I am in. Unfortunately, in order to fix this issue, I need to have surgery, which is very costly. I have tried going through the insurance from my current job, but I've been told there is no insurance coverage for absolutely any transgender services.

Of course, I was raised in a Mormon household that believed that everyone is a child of God, unless you were different in certain ways. As a child, I was often misled on what my thoughts about my body really meant. Now that I have been able to learn and grow outside of the church, I know why I have felt different and what options I have to correct the mistakes I was born with.

This fund is going to help me afford to correct the body I am in and give me the chance to live life in my own skin. I normally try not to ask for help where I can, but with all of the craziness that has happened this 2025 year and not being given any coverage for my life-saving services with my transition, I am given no choice but to ask for help.
