My name is Maddie Wilcox, and every year, I collect toys and donate them to Children's Mercy for my birthday. This is a big year for us because it’s my Sweet 16! My goal this year is 1,000 toys!!!

I do this because I know how it feels to be in the hospital and to feel alone. I know these toys will help the kids feel better. You can help by donating brand-new toys or money. With the monetary donations, I shop for toys. This year's deadline is September 11th, I hope we continue the tradition of using a U-Haul!
