Maddie was born with a rare genetic disorder, requiring a liver transplant at eight months old. She’s had multiple challenges before and after her liver transplant. She’s had multiple surgeries and procedures that have led her to many hospital stays. She is now in kidney failure and facing the challenge of dialysis and a second organ transplant. She is currently listed for a kidney transplant at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. She is such a sweet and happy girl and loves life despite the challenges she’s faced with every single day.
