Support Maddie's Journey: Preemie Born at 32 Weeks

Hi, I’m Angel and our sweet girl Maddie was born July 5th at just 32 weeks gestation. After 6 days of contractions and a major headache, and being ignored by another hospital, I headed to my doctor for help where we found out Madison was not well and I was likely severely pre-eclamptic. They called EMS from my appointment and rushed me to Vanderbilt University where it was quickly evident I wasn’t only pre-eclamptic but my placenta was abrupting. After a failed attempt at induction, I was rushed to an emergency C-section. Our sweet girl came around 9 am on July 5, weighing just 3 pounds. After surgery, I ended up with an infection and I’ve now been hospitalized for a week but should go home soon.

With that, her dad and I will be traveling to and from Clarksville for my animals and his work to come see her, and gas has been very expensive. I’m also behind on a few bills due to the unexpected entrance and not being able to work. Every donation really helps and makes sure we can be here as much as possible for her. Thank you!
