On Tuesday January 20th, Madelyne Spellen went to sleep peacefully and in the middle of her sleep she awoke grabbing her head in pain so her family rushed her to the emergency room to which they sent her to WakeMed where she was  in Neuro ICU with spinal fluid on her brain. They had placed a tube to try to relieve the fluid and pressure but unfortunately that did not work. On Tuesday January 23rd,2026 Madelyne went to be with the lord with her family by her side. Along with having very heavy hearts at this time the family has had to step away from work to set up final arrangements for her as no one prepares to lose their 18 yr old daughter/sister.
