On March 20th, 2026, our lives changed forever. Our sweet 2-year-old daughter, Maddie, was diagnosed with B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL). At an age when she should be learning new words, chasing bubbles, and giggling her way through toddlerhood, she is instead beginning a fight no child should ever have to face.

The past days have been filled with hospital rooms, tests, and treatments that are overwhelming for any adult—let alone a little girl who still clutches her stuffed animals for comfort. Despite it all, Maddie has shown a strength that amazes us. She doesn’t understand what leukemia is, but she knows she’s scared, and she knows she needs her mom and dad close.
