Maddie and her younger sister Mana have always been close, living together with their mom and grandma. On Saturday night, while Maddie was out, her mom, grandma, and little sister Mana were returning home from a shopping trip when tragedy struck. They were involved in a violent car collision in south Charlotte, at the corner of Ardrey Kell Rd and Red Rust Ln, that changed their lives forever. Maddie’s mom and grandma passed away at the scene of the accident, and Mana was flown to the children’s hospital unconscious and in critical condition.

Mana survived the accident, but she remains in the ICU, facing substantial injuries that required extensive surgery. The road ahead is long—once she is released from the hospital, Mana will need ongoing rehabilitation therapy, and the medical bills are already mounting. Maddie is now left to support her sister through this unimaginable loss and the challenges of recovery, all while grieving the loss of their mom and grandma.

This fundraiser is to help Maddie and Mana with the overwhelming medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and living expenses as they try to rebuild their lives.
