I never imagined I would be in this position, but I’m reaching out for support as I begin treatment for breast cancer. I was sadly diagnosed in November after finding a lump and this was such a huge shock for me at the age of 28 (almost 29).

Just as I was getting my life back to normal after having one thing after another in life for quite a while, I had suddenly found my feet and started to feel happy again, I was then hit with this diagnosis.

Over the coming months, I’ll be undergoing chemotherapy, then surgery which will make it impossible for me to continue working as I normally do. As a result, I’m facing a loss of income while still needing to cover everyday living expenses, travel to appointments, and basic necessities.

I have been told I will be losing my hair which absolutely terrifies me and anyone who knows me knows I have long thick hair which I love and this devastates me to know I'll be losing it and a bit of my self identity. So I will be looking into wigs and any donations will really help towards the expense of these! Hoping to feel as myself as possible whilst on this horrible journey.

This fundraiser is also to help ease the financial stress during my treatment so I can focus on healing and recovery without the constant worry of how I’ll get by.
