Support Maddie & Blake During Knox's NICU Stay

Knox Warren Harris was born January 5th, 2025 at 12:20pm to Maddie Gibson and Blake Harris. He was 1 pound and 15 ounces when he came into this world. His expected due date was March 15th.

Maddie was extremely sick from the beginning. She went in many times for fluids and had many hospital stays throughout her pregnancy. Recently she had a growth ultrasound done because she was measuring at 25cm when she should have been at 28cm. The results were that Maddie had IUGR ( Inter Uterine Growth Restriction) due to absent flow to the umbilical cord. This basically means he was not getting enough blood, oxygen, and nutrients. Sunday Morning 1/05/25 the baby's heart rate was fluctuating and they ordered an ultrasound. The umbilical cord went into reverse mode, which means he had to be born immediately. He was born via c-section shortly after.

Knox is doing good. He has proven to already be a fighter. He was screaming as soon as he came out. He still has a long road ahead of him and will be in the NICU for several months. He has a CPAP on to assist with his breathing. Today or tomorrow they will put a feeding tube in his nose.

We are reaching out to all family and friends during this difficult time. Due to the extended stay for Knox, Maddie and Blake will only be able to work minimally so they can be with Knox as much as possible. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and as always, please continue to pray for them.
