Hello everyone!

My name is Maddie Hensley, and we are from Merancas Middle College. My friend Aashna and I are organizing a donation drive to support several local animal shelters. Many of these shelters are currently overcrowded, and the animals in their care urgently need additional resources. With limited space and rising intake numbers, shelters are running low on essential supplies and relying heavily on community support to keep up.

Rather than donating to a single location, we’ll be visiting multiple shelters in our area to ensure the support is distributed where it’s needed most. We’re raising funds so we can purchase the specific items each shelter requests, whether that’s food, cleaning supplies, bedding, enrichment toys, or anything else essential to the animals’ well-being.

Our goal is to provide meaningful, practical help and to make sure these animals receive the care and comfort they deserve.
