Hello! My name is Madalyn Gibson, and in the midst of college, I am taking a big step of faith and obeying the promptings of the Lord. I have always wanted to do missions abroad, but never thought an opportunity would open up. The Lord has been so faithful through my trusting Him in the past months, and I continue to put my trust in Him now. I am more than excited to announce that I will be a part of a YWAM program that is medically focused for 6 months starting March 9th, 2026. There have already been crazy turns in the preparation as the Lord’s plan continues to be revealed, but for the program itself, I will be traveling to New Zealand for discipleship and medical training for 3 months, then travel to Vanuatu Island to partner with a medical base, bringing medical help and glorifying God by spreading His Word for the next 3. However, part of God’s plan is an unexpected 2 months that I will be living in Auckland, NZ, with a christian family who is willing to house me in that duration. With YWAM changing their start date multiple times, God has already been teaching me how to be flexible while planning a trip of now 8 months overseas! I am so incredibly excited for what He has in store and am anticipating a new work in the people there as well as in myself. With the new changes and 2 months of travel added I have so much faith that God will provide in the exact ways needed and I am inviting you to join me in prayer and intercession as well as help me financially.
