Macy has been my best friend for years, and she means the world to me. She is a dedicated caregiver who is always working overtime—often off the clock—to ensure her clients receive the best care possible. Macy goes above and beyond for others, putting their needs before her own, and she truly deserves the same kindness in return.
Recently, Macy experienced something unimaginable—she was attacked by a dog in her own home and had to be life flighted to Vanderbilt for emergency care. The past few days have been overwhelming for Macy and everyone who loves her, but we are so grateful that she is still with us. Her strength and faith have been incredible, and I know she has a long road to recovery ahead.
As Macy begins to heal, she faces a number of challenges. She does not have insurance, which means any pain meds to be sent home comfortably will be needed and they are expensive. She will be out of work for some time, and the medical bills, recovery expenses, and everyday costs are already starting to add up. One of her biggest worries is keeping up with her car payment, which is essential for her independence once she’s able to get back on her feet. I want to do everything I can to help ease her burden so she can focus on getting better.
We truly believe that Jesus is the reason Macy is still here, and we feel blessed for every bit of support we receive. If you’re able to donate or share this fundraiser, it would mean the world to both of us. Thank you for keeping Macy in your thoughts and prayers and for any help you can give during this difficult time.
