Help Us Give Mac a Pain-Free Future! Mac is a 2 year old Sheepdog who was found abandoned at a nearby park in Huntington Beach.

When Mac was rescued, we didn’t know he’d face health concerns that would require surgery. After multiple vet visits and x-rays with a specialist we discovered Mac suffers from underdeveloped bones due to “bad breeding”. With underdeveloped hip and ankle bones and a protruding bone causing constant pain, Surgery is his only option to live comfortably. The surgery will shave off the protruding bone that is rubbing against his other bones causing discomfort. This feeling is all Mac has ever known and would only get worse as he gets older.

We need to raise $3,000 for his surgery, scheduled for May 8, 2025. Post surgery, he will undergo a period of bed rest and then a couple weeks of physical therapy. The recovery will be long, but with your help, Mac can have the pain-free life he deserves before being adopted.
