Hi everyone, my name is Emilee and I’m raising money for my dog Macie. She just turned 4 on May 21st. I have had her since she was a baby, and she is my best friend. She was perfectly fine Friday night, but Saturday morning I noticed she was very off. I instantly took her to her primary vet. She had a 105.8 fever, was given meds, and sent home to monitor her. We were home for a few hours, and she just kept getting worse, struggling to breathe, keep her eyes open, falling over, etc. I took her to the emergency vet where she now has a 107.2 fever. They’re continuing to hold her overnight and doing testing/x-rays. As of now, they are concerned she may have an extreme infection or an obstruction in her intestines. Either of these things is going to cost an immense amount of money. I am trying to exhaust all of my options to not have to make a decision that no one wants to make.
