Support Ma Cristina's Urgent Surgery Costs

Thank you to anyone taking the time to read this as it's very hard for me to even begin to write but my name is Michelle and I'd like to introduce you to my Abuela, most affectionately known as Ma Cristina.

This past Sunday my Abuela was trying to go about her normal routine, as she's always been a very independent woman, when she lost grip of her walker and experienced a bone breaking fall. She was crying out in pain so someone could hear her and help her get up because the pain was too excruciating to try to get up on her own. My aunt and cousin rushed to her side and called an ambulance so she could be moved safely and be examined by doctors immediately. After several tests and x-rays ordered, it was discovered she had in fact broken her femur and surgery would have to be performed as soon as possible. Not only is this a very high risk surgery as she's 87 and has had to undergo back surgery in the past, but the costs were higher than anyone anticipated due to her insurance not being able to cover something so risky. Which is why I'm here today asking for help for not only our favorite person in the world but for the woman who has always put everyone before herself.

My whole family dropped everything once we heard the news and we are all currently flying out to be by her side because that's just how much she means to us. There truly isn't a better human being on this planet and I can't picture a world without her in it so we just want to offer her the best care and treatment possible. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help our family during this time of need and we will be eternally grateful.
