At just 2 years old, Lyv Labehri from Algeria is facing a devastating battle against a rare neurological disease affecting her brain and nervous system.

What should be the happiest years of her childhood have instead become filled with hospital visits, medical tests, and uncertainty.

After extensive neurological evaluations, including an MRI and EEG, doctors found abnormalities in the white matter of her brain. The MRI report indicates findings highly suggestive of a leukodystrophy, a rare disorder that affects the brain's white matter and nervous system. Her EEG also revealed evidence of significant brain dysfunction requiring further investigation into her cognitive and motor development.

Because of the complexity of her condition, specialists in Algeria referred her case abroad. A medical center in Spain has reviewed her medical records and accepted her for specialized treatment and evaluation.

Unfortunately, the estimated cost of her care is far beyond what her family can afford.

We need to raise €40,000.

The treatment estimate includes:

€28,000 for specialized medical care, examinations, and treatment.

€12,000 for medical coordination, logistics, and up to 60 days of support during her stay in Spain.
