Hi, I’m Lyssa Christina, an independent artist asking for your help funding the final stages of my debut album, “Summer in the Valley”.

Sometime ago, I slowly began leaning into my musicality - a side that I ran from for a very long time. My journey has taken me from starting out quivering on an open mic stage, to over 3 years of playing live gigs, writing, building relationships, and now, making a record in historic Muscle Shoals.

So far, my endeavor has been completely self-funded. It has come from a place of want and need for self-discovery. My work over the past 10 months found me cutting tracks with hugely influential players: multiple Grammy-winner bassist Jimbo Hart (original 400 Unit member), legendary guitarist Kelvin Holly (former lead guitar for Little Richard), session drummer Justin Holder, and shaking hands with the likes of Will McFarlane and Rodney Hall.

I have the incredible opportunity to work with a Grammy award-winning engineer to mix my eleven tracks - this step being one of the last steps, but highly important in the sound and feel of a record. Through this entire process, I have stayed consistent in my conviction to do the music justice and never sacrifice quality. I am overjoyed at this opportunity and simply won’t let it pass me by. As an independent artist in this crazy time, I humbly ask for your donation to directly support the mixing of this album, getting me one step closer to releasing it to the world.
