Hi, my name is Beverly Roberts. The loving person you see in these pictures is my dear friend Lynn. This precious lady was diagnosed with gastrointestinal cancer when she had ulcerative colitis and they did a biopsy. Lynn has been divorced since 2016. She has already endured chemotherapy and various scans. Now, on the 25th she will have her stomach removed. When this procedure is done Lynn will have to remain on the Mayo Clinic campus in Jacksonville Florida for two weeks. To do this she will have to stay at a hotel that will charge her at least $300 dollars a night. I believe God will use people like you to make this possible so Lynn can have this necessary time required to get the surgery done. I know that Lynn will be grateful beyond words for any support that you can provide for her during this difficult process. Thank you and God will bless you as you bless Lynn.
I want you to know that first and foremost Lynn is a child of the Almighty God. Her faith has not wavered no matter the circumstances. Lynn truly loves her Savior. Through this all she has not ceased to praise His Name. She believes in the Word of God, in the power of the Word and in the power of the precious blood of the Lamb I have been amazed at her strength and her faith.
Lynn has been such a good friend to me. From the moment we met we clicked. She has a talent for making myself and others feel loved and appreciated.
Here are some facts about Lynn to help you understand what a wonderful, caring, generous person she truly is.
Lynn is a single retired teacher for Pulaski county Ky. She has been involved in many community projects and has been so giving of her time and resources to help others. Lynn has served on the board for Habitat for Humanity and the Bethany House domestic abuse center. She has been instrumental in raising funds for the American Cancer Society and March of Dimes. She has also helped with the weekly distribution of food boxes for the Somerset Foundation.
Our Lynn has always been a giver but she would never have asked for herself. It’s just not in her nature. But God has many ways that He can use us, His people, to bless others in His name. We have the chance to do that by giving to Lynn.
Lynn is a go getter she’s always ready to help whatever the project. I met her in the church kitchen where she was getting everything ready for a church dinner. And she was doing it all by herself!! I’m so glad I stopped in the kitchen that day. Lynn has blessed me many times ♥️. No job is too big or too small for Lynn to tackle it for the church, the saints and for her Jesus!
Now the situation has reversed and we need to be the ones stepping up to help Lynn.
Lynn has and will continue to have so many expenses. I can’t name them all because I don’t know what they are. She hasn’t told me. But the Father knows what we need even before we ask. I believe that this GoFundMe is one way that God is supplying Lynn’s needs.
I know that Lynn has to travel to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She’s been there several times. She’s had to go back and forth to Louisville weekly for chemotherapy and other treatments as well as doctor visits. Now Lynn faces another trip to Florida for the surgery. I can only imagine the doctor and hospital bills.
Please help me help Lynn. Thank you.
Luke 6:38
Give and it shall be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
