My family and I are putting together this Go Fund Me for the matriarch of our family, the strong, the beautiful, Lynn Navarro. (Also known as Mama Lynn, Lynnie or Nonna).

Lynn has been diagnosed with cancer of the head and throat.

Although her prognosis is hopeful, her particular type of cancer is known to be very painful throughout treatment. She is currently receiving radiation 5 days a week and chemo 1 day a week for several hours.

She has begun losing her hair and her ability to swallow; as a result, she is starting to rely on her feeding tube. We've also been informed that recovery after this challenging treatment is incredibly difficult and painful. This experience has and will continue to affect her ability to work and get back on her feet.

She has been unable to work for several months, and with a current heart condition, she is on several medications on top of her cancer treatment.

Lynn has faced numerous adversities since Covid, starting with the loss of work. From suffering a heart attack, to multiple hospitalizations, she has gracefully fought through many trials and tribulations.

This year alone, Lynn has faced major dental surgery, a broken foot, and the loss of her beloved dog, Sunny, after an extensive fight to keep her alive through costly hospitalization and treatments.

Additionally, the fees for chemo and radiation are not fully covered by insurance, leaving her at even more of a loss for required therapies.

She has worked hard to support herself, fiercely fighting for her financial independence despite the obstacles her health and life has presented.

Just like our matriarch, we as a family have always been self-reliant. However, our love for our sweet mom, Lynn, humbly brings us here on her behalf.

We know these are trying times and we live in an expensive day and age.

Every little bit will help.

Every dollar that is given to this campaign will go directly toward Lynn's medical costs, groceries, lost wages and other living expenses.
