Please help us raise funds to support our mother, Lynne Dahl, as she battles cancer. We are hoping to raise funds to help Lynne pay for medical expenses as well as bills and groceries as she and our dad are unable to work due to her illness.

Lynne's Story:

On Friday, June 13, 2025, Lynne woke up with a stomach ache. Over the next 2 days, the pain continued to worsen with no apparent cause. On Sunday, June 15th, the pain was so bad that Lynne went to the ER. After imaging and several hours of waiting, a mass was discovered on her pancreas. That night she was air-lifted to Colorado Springs for further assessment. On Wednesday, June 18th, the medical staff confirmed the mass on the pancreas was malignant; they also identified abnormalities on the liver and lungs that were suggestive that the cancer had spread.

Lynne spent over a week in Colorado Springs on the Oncology floor, undergoing multiple biopsies and additional imaging, meeting with the surgeon and hospitalists, walking the floor waiting, on tenterhooks. Thankfully, the biopsies of the liver came back negative.

On Wednesday, June 25th, Lynne was diagnosed with Stage 2A Pancreatic Cancer.

On July 9th, Lynne met with the Oncologist to discuss the treatment plan and underwent pre-treatment blood tests. The blood tests showed elevated liver enzymes and Lynne had to return to Colorado Springs to have a stent installed.

On July 21st, Lynne started her first of four cycles of chemo. After she finishes this course, she will undergo additional imaging to confirm if the tumor has shrunk enough to be removed. If not, she will need to undergo a second four-cycle course of chemo.
