Hi, my name is Lynne and I am raising money for my husband, Larry and myself.

My husband who is 80 was on dialysis for 5.5 years. He finally received a kidney 3 weeks ago. All was going well until yesterday. Larry was in a very severe car accident.

Right now Larry has a broken clavicle, several broken ribs, and cracked sternum and a spine fracture.

The car (a 2005 Huyndai Sonata) is totaled. It's at a towing lot where they charge $50 a day. The insurance company has not yet reviewed it. The other car at home (a 1998 Toyota) needs a radiator and inspection in order for me to drive it. The Toyota car repairs would be $500 to $600. I do not know the towing costs at this point. I will be able to provide receipts. Until then I cannot visit Larry as he's 2 hours away.

He has a few months of recovery once he gets home.

He's been driving 2 hours each way, two days a week for his kidney appointments in Hackensack, NJ. It's costing about $300 a month in gas.

We only have Social Security at this point. The above charges are in addition to normal living expenses.

Funds will be used for car repairs the accident's co-pays and post accident treatment.
