Hello, I'm Lynette and my "little" sister is Jennifer. 40 years after a severe crash where a drunk driver almost killed me, tearing my body apart and crushing my left hand, I'm now faced with having to have several surgeries. The first surgery is to be performed on February 3rd, in just 10 days, on my left hand that was crushed 40 years ago. Since my husband passed in 2024, I've had no one to help me or be with me here in this state. But the surgeons are telling me that I must have someone with me for the surgery, and a week after the surgery. I had to call my younger sister Jennifer, who lives in California, for help to come to New Mexico and be here for the surgery. We are going to have to travel an hour away from my place and stay in a hotel for the duration of the surgery and the week after the surgery, but neither of us has the funds for any of this. We need help! This surgery is desperately needed.
