As many of you already know, Lyndsay was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer this past April. At the time of her diagnosis, the cancer had already spread to the optic nerve in her right eye, as well as her liver, spine, sternum, and ureters.

While this type of cancer isn’t curable, Lyndsay will hopefully be on treatment for many years to manage it. In May, she had stents placed in her ureters to save her kidneys. She has shown incredible strength as she began treatment and adjusted to this new reality.

Unfortunately, her most recent scan revealed that the cancer has progressed and spread to her left hip. To prevent a fracture, she will be undergoing daily radiation in the coming weeks. This was not part of her original treatment plan.

As Lyndsay begins intensive treatment, their family is facing a challenging road ahead. While she focuses on healing, she won’t be able to care for the children or manage daily responsibilities as she usually does. As Greg supports Lyndsay through treatment and cares for their young children, Desi and Olivia, everyday responsibilities will become increasingly difficult to manage on their own.
