My name is Shaleigh Hebert, and I’ve created this fundraiser for my mom, Lynda Hebert and dad, Chad Hebert.
On top of her life long battle with lupus, an autoimmune illness that has no cure, my mom Lynda was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a cancer of plasma cells, on October 6th, 2023. Since February this year she has undergone several rounds of chemotherapy, completing her last one at the beginning of August.
After many tests and scans the past week, Lynda will need to do an intensive and very costly Stem Cell Transplant to get rid of the rest of the cancerous cells in her body. This procedure will require us to relocate to Houston for 4-6 weeks to receive outpatient care.
As her 24/7 caregiver, we will both be unable to work during this process. I’ve created this GoFundMe to try and relieve financial stress on my family, so that Lynda is able to fully focus on her recovery journey moving forward.
Any donations are greatly appreciated and will help us with medical bills, regular bills, and the expenses of moving to and staying in Houston for 4-6 weeks.
