Support Lyla's Dream to Become a Tattoo Artist

Hi! My name is Lyla. I’m currently working towards becoming a tattoo artist. I have 3 certificates in fine arts. I’ve spent all of my years in school getting nothing less than an A in any art class I have ever been in. I’m looked at by my family as the “artist” in the house. I’m currently enrolled in classes at NOVA for fine arts, and most importantly, my number one passion is, well, you guessed it, art!

I have wanted to be a tattoo artist since the age of 15 and have tried everything I can to get an apprenticeship once I turned 18, which in this area of VA, is very difficult to do. I ask for help today so I can purchase the proper supplies to begin tattooing on real skin! I have a blood-borne pathogens certification. I’ve taken courses on the proper sanitary and sterilization procedures. I’ve studied fine arts and tattooing for two years. I’ve drawn tattoo commissions for family and friends, and I have practiced my tattooing skills on *fake* skin (pictured above).

Any donation will help! I would love nothing more than to be able to give my family, friends, and clients permanent art on their bodies that they can love and appreciate forever!
