Support Lydia's Heart Transplant Journey

My name is Lydia and I’m 3 years old. When I was born I had a defective heart. I spent the first year of my life in the hospital in Ann Arbor Michigan until I received my heart transplant. After receiving my new heart I have had many obstacles to overcome.

I recently made a trip with my mom , Baylee to UofM to get a heart catheter done. I have been having some issues and we needed to get things looked at. I’m often gone for long periods of time so this makes it hard.

Well we got news that this Thursday July 31st I have to go stay at U of M until I get another new heart. My heart that they gave me isn’t working right. My arteries are restricting and they say I could have a heart attack at any time. I’m praying for a miracle and I hope you join me in that prayer. In the mean time I have to get tests and prepare for what’s ahead. With that said I’m asking for help for my family. My mom is with me always and my dad has to stay back and try to work and take care of my lil bro. He’s my best friend. So if you can donate gas cards, money , food cards or whatever is laid on your heart that would help my family and I out a lot. This is going to take time and money but I trust God and believe that He will see us through.

Ps: You now know I’m only 3 years old so I obviously didn’t write this myself but this was inspired by one of my family memebers who think I’m pretty special.
