Support Lydia After Her Mom's Sudden Passing

Hello Everyone, my name is Lydia McFarland the youngest child of my mother, Melissa McFarland. My Mom, passed away (January 15th, 1973 - March 27th, 2025) after a 24+ year battle with severe Type 1 diabetes and major complications that came with it. This all came as a shock to us. She was hospitalized around the beginning of February after a random heart episode where CPR was administered. After a month in the hospital and 2 weeks in a nursing facility, she came home to us on Monday, March 24th. She was doing great at home, until falling ill the night of Wednesday, March 26th into Thursday, March 27th.

Our family would just like to simply cremate my mom, and from several phone calls, it's been seen as severely expensive. Anything will help cover the costs to lay my mom to rest.
