Hello everyone! My name is Teresa Santana & I'm raising funds to aid my brother (Darryl Braswell) & I during this time.

Our mother, Luz Neida Santana, transcended peacefully on 4/11 with her children, nephew & niece by her side in hospice with the most amazing & caring staff. She’s been fighting for her life off and on since December with hospital visits every month until now. Her final visit resulted in a diabetic coma, blot clots, a required breathing machine, feeding tube, bleeding in the brain, and a blood infection, which the test results didn't show any signs of a healthy recovery with her being able to talk or walk again.

Mami was a light in everyone's life (pun intended). She brought her positive energy & spirit everywhere she went to anyone who showed her care or love. Her love language was act of service and quality time, so it was normal for her a plate of food for you or hanging with mj, having a sit down conversation with her or her love for dance.

The funds we're raising are going towards Celebration of Life we'll be having in MA in late-July, cremation, and a gold butterfly in the wing of the hospice as a way to commemorate her final destination to transcend into her next phase of life.
