Ayudemos a mi abuelita Luzmila a superar esta operación urgente ❤️

Hola, mi nombre es Samantha y en nombre de la familia González quiero contarles la situación que estamos viviendo con mi abuela, Luzmila González.

Desde finales de agosto 2025, mi abuela ha estado enfrentando fuertes dolores abdominales, vómitos y complicaciones en su salud que la llevaron a ser hospitalizada. Tras múltiples exámenes (Colangioresonancias, Ecoendoscopias y estudios médicos), los doctores confirmaron que sufre de Litiasis Vesicular múltiple con alto poder migratorio, en palabras más simples, Cálculos en la Vesícula que pueden desplazarse y causar complicaciones graves.

El tratamiento indicado es una Colecistectomía Laparoscópica de emergencia (operación para extraer la vesícula), junto con evaluaciones preoperatorias y cuidados posteriores. Esta cirugía debe realizarse lo antes posible para evitar riesgos mayores.

El reto económico

El costo total estimado de la cirugía, exámenes y cuidados postoperatorios asciende a $6,500.00, una cifra que lamentablemente se nos escapa de las manos. Mi abuela vive en Caracas, Venezuela, donde la situación económica y de salud es muy complicada; ella no trabaja, no cuenta con seguro médico y hasta ahora nosotros su familia hemos podido cubrir los gastos entre sus hijos, nietos, sobrinos y hermanas.

Después de más de un mes de hospitalización, estudios médicos y tratamientos, ya nos agotaron los recursos económicos. Por ello, con mucha humildad, acudimos a esta campaña para pedir apoyo.

Sobre mi abuela

Mi Lelita, como la llamo con cariño, es el pilar de nuestra familia. Siempre ha estado ahí para todos: pendiente de sus hermanas, sobrinos, nietos, hijos y amigos. Es una mujer noble, generosa y luchadora, que siempre da sin esperar nada a cambio. Ahora le toca a ella poder recibir.

Help My Grandma Luzmila Overcome This Urgent Surgery ❤️

Hello, my name is Samantha, and on behalf of the González family I want to share the situation we are going through with my grandmother, Luzmila González.

Since late August 2025, my grandmother has been experiencing severe abdominal pain, vomiting, and health complications that led her to be hospitalized. After multiple exams (Cholangiopancreatography, Endoscopic ultrasounds, and other medical studies), the doctors confirmed that she suffers from multiple gallstones with high migratory risk, in simpler words, gallstones that can move and cause serious complications.

The prescribed treatment is an emergency Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (surgery to remove the gallbladder), along with pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care. This surgery must be done as soon as possible to avoid greater risks.

The Financial Challenge

The total estimated cost for the surgery, exams, and post-operative care is $6,500.00, an amount that unfortunately is beyond our reach. My grandmother lives in Caracas, Venezuela, where the economic and healthcare situation is extremely difficult; she does not work, has no health insurance, and until now our family has been covering all expenses among her children, grandchildren, siblings, nephews and nieces.

After more than a month of hospitalization, medical exams, and treatments, our resources have been stretched to the limit. With great humility, we now turn to this campaign to ask for help.

About My Grandma

My Lelita, as I lovingly call her, is the heart of our family. She has always been there for everyone, looking after her sisters, nieces, nephews, children, grandchildren, and friends. She is a noble, generous, and strong woman who always gives without expecting anything in return. Now it’s her turn to receive.
