Help us lay our beloved Lupita to rest

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beloved Lupita — a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, and dear friend to many.

Lupita bravely battled diabetes for many years, and in recent years, underwent dialysis treatment as her condition worsened. Both illnesses took a tremendous toll on her physically and emotionally, yet she continued to fight with quiet strength, never letting go of her love for her family or her faith in God.

Earlier this month, Lupita underwent a leg amputation — a life-altering and incredibly difficult procedure. Her body, already weary from years of fighting, struggled to recover. On Monday, May 12th, she was admitted to the hospital, and the following day, she went into cardiac arrest. On May 14th, at 3:12 p.m., surrounded by love, the Lord called her home.

Lupita leaves behind her husband, Sam, and her two precious boys, Sammy and David, who now face the unimaginable reality of life without her. While our hearts are broken, we are also faced with the financial burden of medical bills and funeral expenses.

As her sister-in-law, I can say with certainty that Lupita’s warmth, strength, and selflessness touched everyone who knew her. She always found a way to smile through the pain, to care for others even when she was hurting, and to pour love into her family no matter what she was going through.

Today, we humbly ask for your help. Any contribution — big or small — will go directly toward easing the financial strain of this tragic loss and helping us give Lupita the beautiful farewell she deserves.

Thank you for your prayers, your support, and for helping us honor the memory of someone who meant so much to so many. Lupita is now resting peacefully, free from pain, and reunited with loved ones who passed before her.
