On October 6, 2025, Lupita Martinez and her 3 children experienced the unimaginable. The sudden loss of her husband and father of her children, in a horrific, devastating way. There are no words to ease the pain for a child who has lost their father in this manner, let alone 3 children. As they face this heartbreaking reality, our goal is to help lift some of the financial burden they will be facing as they and their mother focus on healing. This will allow her to take the time she needs to mourn the loss of her love, without worrying about bills piling up, or the holidays coming up that are just around the corner.

This fund will go directly to Lupita and her children, so that it may support her during this difficult time. Helping her cover her living expenses, counseling, child expenses, and time away from work, as she learns to navigate life after such a devastating loss.

Most of the time, these suicidal feelings of lonely hopelessness leave a dark hole on both sides. We will never know the truth of how these poor people felt, but death, loss, and grief are uneasy bedfellows. What I do know is that all of these people who left this world and who were left behind needed someone, someone they could talk to, to unload their heavy heart and try to make sense of the dark thoughts in their mind, to think aloud and to be heard without being judged.

Admitting they are lost, asking for help, and opening up to family members can feel daunting, especially when they are reminded of how lucky they are compared to some people in this world. Sadly, that doesn't help people lost in the dark, but what does help is an open ear and someone to help them make sense of their pain.

This is where this fundraiser aims to help those people who maybe cannot afford the support they deserve.

El 6 de octubre de 2025, Lupita y sus tres hijos sufrieron una tragedia inimaginable. La pérdida repentina de su esposo y padre de sus hijos de una manera devastadora. No hay palabras que puedan aliviar el dolor de perder a su padre. Mientras afrontan esta desgarradora realidad, nuestro objetivo es ayudar a aliviar la carga financiera para que su madre pueda concentrarse en su recuperación y poder tomarse el tiempo necesario para lamentar y llorar en su dolor, sin preocuparse por el trabajo, o las facturas que vienen. También se nos acerca el tiempo de Navidad y festividades; con la ayuda, ella podrá comprarle lo necesario a sus hijos.

Este fondo se destinará directamente a Lupita, para apoyarla durante este difícil momento, ayudándola a cubrir sus gastos de manutención, terapia, gastos para los niños y el tiempo que necesita fuera del trabajo, mientras aprende a sobrellevar la vida después de una pérdida tan devastadora.
